Comparing The Blueprint Mod to the genuine TubeTech CL1B, the results prove to be exceptional and adds a more expensive sound to the compressor. The Blueprint Mod significantly increases the transparency of the compression and even at high levels the sound is more open. The Blueprint Mod takes classic opto tube compression to new heights, introducing enhanced transparency, 3D mojo, and more of the distinctive CL1B character. 

The CL1B and the WA-1B share the same point to point schematic, this means they have the same design or blueprint. In practical terms, this means that their internal components, connections, and overall structure are identical or very similar. As a result, their performance is expected to be comparable or nearly identical. Certain internal components not used in the real CL1B hinder the WA-1B from achieving its full potential. That's where The Blueprint Mod comes in, by not only making the WA-1B sound better, but bringing you closer to the authentic sound of the CL1B.

What is the process for the WA-1B Blueprint Mod mail-in modification? 

Immediately after check out you will receive detailed mail-in instructions. You will need to mail us your WA-1B compressor in order for us to perform the upgrade and modification services. The estimated turnaround time begins when we receive your device. Our team ensures continuous communication, offering updates at every stage of the process. We also test your WA-1B against the actual TubeTech CL1B during the modification process to ensure consistent results. Once your modification is finished, you will receive notifications containing the tracking number for the return shipping. Your enhanced WA-1B compressor will arrive to back to you with improved sound quality, accompanied by a 2-year warranty.

$695 mail-in modification service. This price does not include the WA-1B compressor. You are required to mail us your WA-1B for the modification, and we will then mail back your upgraded compressor to you.
